It is just a 25-minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland. There are so many great picnic sites as well as thousands of walking tracks for people who love discovering a place's natural beauty on foot. Shakespear Regional Park is a nature park in the Auckland Region of New Zealand. It is located at the tip of the Whangaparaoa Peninsula. Much of the coastline is lined by sandstone cliffs, which shelter the beach-lined Te Haruhi Bay. At the Park's western border, a narrow lowland separates Okoromai and Army Bays. There is an all modes campground at the very eastern end of Te Haruhi Bay. The campground is located in the Shakespear Open Sanctuary. One of most important things when it comes to traveling through the great outdoors is packing accordingly. Here are a few tips:

  1. Bring layers of clothing
